Thank you to everyone that came along to Barrow Conservative Club for our Volunteers Christmas Skittles and Supper Evening. We had a great turn out with 17 volunteers and 6 guests taking part, and hopefully all having lots of fun.
It was a very close competition but many congratulations to Team N for winning. Vanita won the highest score for the evening , and we had joint winners with Ian and Ginnie for lowest score. The single pin knockout also had 2 winners - Ali and Andy. The only ones to be successful.
Thank you to Ginnie and Jeanette who were in charge of team selection and scoring for the event.
We had a lovely hamper donated by Laura and all volunteers names - whether there on the night or not - were in the draw which was won by Sue S. Congratulations to you all.
The evening was about saying THANK YOU to our Volunteers, and celebrating everything you do for our members to make their lives better by providing friendship and support. You all do such a wonderful job and I feel so lucky to be part of this group of amazing people.
