Barrow Book Club

All meetings are held at The Hunting Lodge, starting at 7:00pm.

Meetings are on the last Monday of each month (this could change with bank holidays). See the events diary for dates.

Do you have a favourite book?

Is there a book you have always longed to read?

Or is it that you are just a book lover and would like to meet other book lovers?

Then come along to the Barrow Book Club. The meetings last about one hour, where we discuss a book in a relaxed atmosphere before voting on it.

The books are picked by the group and therefore are quite varied and of different genres.

Here are the books from December 2020 up to July 2021. We will be reviewing on dates shown:

Dec/January 25th 2021 - Where the Crawdad's Sing - Delia Owens/ Silas Marner - George Eliot (No meeting in December).

February 22nd - The Other Hoffman Sister - Ben Fergusson.

March 29th - Mohab is my Washpot - Stephen Fry.

April 26th - Transcription - Kate Atkinson.

May 24th - A Thousand Roads Home - Carmel Harrington.

June 28th - Girl, Woman, Other - Bernadine Evaristo.

July 26th - The Foundling - Stacey Halls.

Please come along and join in- you will be most welcome.
